It safeguards C3 from making payments to incorrect people and reduces any risk of fraudulent activity. It also ensures that we apply accurate tax calculations and KiwiSaver deductions where applicable.

Proof of Identity
To validate your identity and ensure we are doing everything to reduce fraudulent activity, you will need to upload a copy of a your ID. You can use your New Zealand driver licence, current New Zealand passport, Kiwi Access card or 18+ card, or New Zealand citizenship certificate.
Tax Code Declaration - IR 330 signed and dated
Before we make payment, we first need to verify your information and collect new IR330(external link) form so we know the correct tax deduction rates to apply. These forms are available from IRD.
Proof of Bank Account
One of the following to confirm you have a fully functional bank account.
• A New Zealand bank statement or print out showing your name, bank account number and at least one deposit and one withdrawal of differing amounts
• A letter from the bank showing your name, bank account number and clearly states the account:
- is a fully functional bank account, or
- is an active bank account, or
- has had due diligence completed in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009
